Unlike most other chalkboard or white surfaces, the Premium Surface marker board is made of a non-porous, hard laminate material with matte finish. Any erasable maker, including dry erase markers, liquid chalk pens, or old-fashioned chalk, can be used to write on the black surface. The Premium Surface Andle's Sampler Tray maker board should provide lifetime of service if used properly.
The tray can be used with all 4oz or 5 oz beer sampler glasses I have seen. The bottom of the glass can be up to 2” diameter and the maximum diameter of the glass above the tray opening can be up to 3” in order to fit next to each other. Oak wood is unfinished, can be used unfinished, and will get a nice patina after some time, but I would recommend sealing the surface to prevent spills soaking.
