ABOUT US
Oakville Shop Woodworking and Engraving was established in 2016 by its owner Karel (Carl) Konecny. With many years of experience in providing customers with quality service and products, Karel has a deep understanding of the craft and is dedicated to creating unique pieces that are tailored to the needs of our customers
Our goal is to provide quality, custom, and affordable beer, wine, coffee tap handles, and flight boards for breweries, restaurants, and individual customers. We strive to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction with every purchase.
We are located in Oakville, part of Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA. The area is heavily populated by Amish and Mennonite families. All of our workers come from these communities and some of the work is done in their homes and home shops.
We use only locally sourced materials, such as native hardwoods from local Amish sawmills, to craft our products. This ensures that each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail, using the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.
At Oakville Shop Woodworking and Engraving, we are passionate about creating unique pieces that will bring joy to our customers for years to come. We take pride in our work and strive to make sure that each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail.
At Oakville Shop Woodworking and Engraving, we combine modern and traditional woodworking methods to create our products. We start with a digital model, which is then transformed using computerized CNC routers to its rough shape. This helps us to optimize material usage and efficiency. However, most of the process of finishing and shaping is still done by hand. Our craftsmen use a variety of tools to bring out the beauty in each piece, from routers and drills to sanders and polishers. We take pride in our work and strive to make sure that each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail.
